This Privacy Policy explains what information Get Flood Pros (getfloodpros.com, "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Get Flood Pros is an independent directory that connects homeowners with independent local water damage contractors.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you ask for a callback we collect your name, mobile number, the city you choose, when you need help, and whether you agree to receive text messages about your request.
- Phone calls. If you call the number on this site, the call is connected through a telephone service provider, which records basic call details such as the calling number, time and length of the call.
- Technical information. Like any website, our hosting provider receives standard technical information when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. This site does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts.
How we use it
We use your information to pass your request to one independent local contractor serving your area so they can contact you, to send the text messages you agreed to, to keep a record of requests, to prevent spam and abuse, and to meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We share your name, number, city and timeframe with one independent local contractor serving your area. That contractor is a separate business and handles your information under its own practices. We also use service providers that host this site, store requests and connect calls and texts; they may use your information only to provide those services to us. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Text messages
If you agree to texts, we may text you about your request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is optional and is not a condition of getting help.
Your California privacy rights
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to request a copy of it; to ask us to correct or delete it; and to opt out of its sale or sharing (we do neither). We will not discriminate against you for using these rights. You can also use an authorized agent to make a request for you. We will need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
Residents of other states
Residents of Nevada, Idaho and Washington may contact us with the same kinds of requests, and we will respond as their state's law requires. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep information
We keep request records for as long as we need them to connect you with a contractor, handle follow-up questions, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete yours at any time (see below).
Children
This site is meant for adults arranging work on their homes. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
